OVERVIEW
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from theprinters.co.uk (the “Site”).

7. DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
8. REGISTRATION AND LOGIN
Users can create a user account. The processed data includes in particular the login information (name, password and an e-mail address). The data entered during registration will be used for the purposes of using the user account and its purpose.
Users may be informed by e-mail of information relevant to their user account, such as technical changes and special offers related to their account. If users have terminated their user account, their data will be deleted with regard to the user account, subject to a statutory retention obligation. It is the responsibility of the users to secure their data before the end of the contract in the event of termination. We are entitled to irretrievably delete all user data stored during the term of the contract.
Within the scope of using our registration and login functions as well as the use of the user account, we store the IP address and the time of the respective user action. The storage is based on our legitimate interests, as well as the user’s protection against misuse and other unauthorized use. This data will not be passed on to third parties unless it is necessary to pursue our claims or there is a legal obligation to do so.

9. PAYMENT METHODS
When buying in our online shop we offer different payment methods. The type and scope of the data processed and passed on depend on the payment method you choose. The legal basis for data processing in relation to payment processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b GDPR.
Depending on the requirements of your selected payment provider, we will share the required information given during the checkout process, such as name, address, email address, account number, bank code, credit card number, invoice amount, currency, transaction number and transaction date with the selected provider.
Stripe
On our website we accept payments via Stripe. The provider of this payment service is Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd, a private limited company organised under the laws of Ireland with company number 513174 and offices at The One Building, 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland (hereinafter “Stripe”).
If you choose to pay via Stripe, the payment details you enter will be transmitted to Stripe.
The transmission of your data to Stripe is based on art. 6 par. 1 letter a GDPR (consent) and art. 6 par. 1 letter b GDPR (processing for the fulfilment of a contract). You have the opportunity to revoke your consent to data processing at any time. Revocation does not affect the effectiveness of data processing operations carried out in the past.
PayPal
On our website we accept payments via PayPal. The provider of this payment service is PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (hereinafter “PayPal”).
If you choose to pay via PayPal, the payment data you enter will be transmitted to PayPal.
The transmission of your data to PayPal is based on art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent) and art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (processing for the performance of a contract).
